The Parish Council purchased the Chandos Arms late in 2021 via a public works loan. Oakley Village Pub Ltd (OVPL). has been set up as a community benefit society and has agreed to a fifty-year lease with the freeholder, Oakley Parish Council, to ensure the pub is a sustainable community asset.
OVPL aims to ensure the continual availability of the Chandos Arms as a family-friendly community public house offering a selection of beverages and food in a convivial and welcoming environment.
Share Offer
As we approach the Annual Members Meeting, the opportunity to purchase shares has been suspended. We hope to reopen the offer at a later date.
