The draft minutes from the last OPC meeting mentions money to be passed from OPC to OVPL. Are these to cover the repairs identified before the Chandos was purchased?
The draft minutes also mention a meeting to discuss proposed changes to the lease between OPC and OVPL. What are the main terms of the existing lease and what are the proposed changes?
Thanks again for your detailed question Richard; your attention to detail would be a great addition to OVPL’S Management board.
Any monies granted by OPC will be taken from the remainder of the Public Works Loan taken to purchase the pub. OVPL will request granting of the funds from OPC by providing a breakdown of the proposed usage of funds. Some of this is likely to be towards some of the cost of the repairs.
Due to commercial confidentiality, the lease terms being agreed upon between parties will not be shared.
The changes referred to in OPC minutes are minor amendments to wordings on two clauses and do not constitute a material change to the agreement reached between OPC and OVPL in 2022.
I trust that answer your questions
